Hey there, fellow earthling! Are you feeling the heat? No, not the summer heat, we're talking about the heat that been building up in our planet for decades. Yes, we are talking about climate change, and it's time we address it with a new trend that's taking the world by storm: Climate Justice
Climate Justice is all about making sure that everyone, no matter where they live or what they do, has a fair shot at a healthy and sustainable future. It is about recognising that the people who are most affected by climate change are often the ones who have contributed the least to it.
In Kenya, we are going through the worst drought in over 4 decades, and when the earth gets thirsty there are some not so cool effects. For example dust storms, wildfires, crop failures, water shortages and sink holes. To mitigate these effects and to remain all smiles, we have 2 main ideas.
support water conservation efforts and protect ecosystems
reduce our carbon footprint by planting trees.
Thanks for reading, fellow earthlings! By taking action to prevent drought and it's not so cool effects, we can help ensure a healthy and sustainable future for our planet. Let's work together to make a difference!
